Rank and Progression Structure

 

Adult Classes

 
 Progression for adults are laid out in 7 Levels:

1. Intermediate Level Student

2. Advanced Level Student

3. Senior Level Student

4. Instructor Trainee

5. Apprentice Instructor Level 1

6. Apprentice Instructor Level 2

7. Full Instructor

Student will not need to undrgo any test for the first 6 levels. And will be awarded a signed certificate for each level achieved as and when by the Chief Instructor when they have reached the requirements to progress further.

There is no belt or sash required.


Students who have achieved all 6 Levels and wish to proceed to (Full Instructor) will be required to undergo a specific test and meet the requirements as set out by the chief instructor.

Students who fullfill the requirements of Full Instructor will be awarded a black sash and certification of instructorship and will then be eligible to apply to be added to the  national register of official Black Belts at NAKMAS NGB. Successfully being accepted students will then receive a valid A3 certificate and a plastic wallet size card, containing name and officially registered Black Belt identity number.

 

 

Childerens Classes

We have a coloured sash ranking system in place for children in order for them to progress
We do not charge for children moving up in rank nor do they need to sit any test 

Progressing is made similar to the adult structure

Each child will be awarded, free of charge a coloured sash to show their rank based on attendance, skill and knowledge  

The order of the rank sashes are as follows......

1. Junior Yellow

2. Junior Orange

3. Junior Green

4. Junior Blue

5. Junior Brown

6. Junior Red

7. Junior Black

 

Any child awarded a black sash will be registered similar to the adults at NAMAS NGB.

If they wish to join the adult class in the future, the sashes will not be recognised and they will enter into the 7 level adult ranking system, as a 

Level 2 Advanced Student.
